Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed why forward Timo Werner was not include in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Liverpool.
The German forward was one of the substitutes in the game against the “Reds”, but in the end the team fought until extra time until the penalty shootout end in defeat. but was not sent to the field
“Kai didn’t train with a hamstring injury. And we think he hurt himself,” Tuchel said. “We did the test on Saturday morning but it didn’t improve.”
“Timo didn’t feel very well during the warm-up and said he couldn’t play. It’s also a symptom of the Achilles tendon. We don’t have a choice.”
