  1. C-Max is one of the best cars I have ever owned (previous cars bought new: Lincoln Towncars (2), Camreys (2), Lexus. For future improvement I would suggest (1) Headlights automatically come on when windshield wipers are engaged (as required in state law ) (2) Headlights automatically come on earlier as it gets dark (3) Rest place for left foot as in Toyota cars (4) Option for better front seats (5) Improvement in space utilization of center console

An additional strong point for sales to seniors; your higher seats than Prius and other cars are much better for aging leg joints and backs. Other crossover’s and SUV’s seats are high and regular cars sit to low. Also, the C-max is ideal for parking in the smaller parking spaces as in doctor high rise office buildings, while the C-max offers the best total “trunk” space for shopping and trips. I like your acceleration over the Prius.

    • Turn the headlamp control to the far right (autolamps). “The headlamps will switch on and off automatically in low light situations or during inclement weather. The headlamps will remain on for a period of time after you switch the ignition off. You can adjust the time delay using the information display controls. Note: If you switch autolamps on in conjunction with autowipers, low beam headlamps will illuminate automatically when the rain sensor activates the windshield wipers continuously. Note: It may be necessary to switch your headlamps on manually in severe weather conditions.” – page 91 of manual.

  2. I have a CMAX Plug-in Hybrid and I was getting 23 miles on an electric charge now only 13, it’s under warranty but the dealer said nothing is wrong. I very disappointed they are not repairing my vehicle, I don’t think I’ll buy another ford. They don’t stand behind their car
