Ford Motor Company said today that 1,418 C-Max Hybrid and Energi vehicles were sold in January 2014, down 48% from 2013.  There was a month-over-month loss of 30% from the 2,028 sold in December.  January was by far the lowest full-month for sales since the C-Max was introduced to the US market in September 2012.

    • Driving around town we don’t buy gas. We only buy gas on trips. We’re at about 10,000 miles over 8 months though, so we’ve had quite a few highway/long distance miles. No problems at all thus far for us.

  1. My only gripe with the C-Max is the cargo area should have been bigger. Just making the car about a foot long would have made a huge difference.

    • I agree. More space would be nice. Thus far, I’ve only maxed out the existing space a couple times though.
